In my yard, I stumbled upon something quite unusual.
At first, it looked like a long, twisting rope resting on the grass, seemingly placed there intentionally. But then I wondered, “What if it’s a snake?!” My heart started to race.
I quickly grabbed my phone, snapped a picture, and, feeling excited, began to move closer. Each step felt rigid; the idea of encountering something dangerous was terrifying.

As I approached closely enough to see, I was struck with terror. There was no rope. It wasn’t a snake, either. In front of me was a slow-moving line of about 150 caterpillars, which I eventually counted!
They advanced in a straight line, tightly packed together, as if led by an unseen force. I had no idea this could happen, especially in my own yard!
Where were they going? Why are there so many? These questions keep swirling in my mind. Some believe that moving in groups helps caterpillars evade predators. Maybe this way, they can find food more easily.

Maybe it’s a way to conserve energy: those in front pave the way, allowing those behind to exert less effort. Do you have any idea about their origin or destination?
We requested a salad, but found small black dots in the dish – we headed directly to the hospital.

What was meant to be a soothing dinner morphed into a scene from a horror tale. A simple salad, just a few bites in… and then we stumbled upon a shocking discovery that forever altered our perception of food. This isn’t merely a tale of a spoiled meal — it’s a warning.
My friend and I were dining at a fashionable restaurant when she suddenly spotted tiny black specks on the salad 😲😲. Initially, we assumed they were chia seeds, but those little dots began to move 😱. I called the waiter over in disbelief 😲. Once we understood what it was, we hurried to the hospital 😱. I’m sharing this with you – please exercise caution 😣😥
We simply wanted a tranquil dinner. Nothing extravagant – just a cozy eatery in the heart of the city, aromatic dishes, and soft music. However, the night transformed into a genuine nightmare. My friend had ordered a salad with avocado and quinoa. Everything appeared appetizing, until she suddenly halted, her fork suspended mid-air.
Do you see that? she inquired, gesturing at something on the plate. On the salad’s surface were tiny black specks resembling chia seeds. For a brief moment, we even thought: “Perhaps it’s just spices or some fashionable topping.” But her expression became increasingly tense.

These aren’t seeds… Look, they’re… moving? We leaned in closer – and our blood ran cold. Those “seeds” were actually moving. Tiny, almost transparent spheres with dark dots inside… They were eggs. Some kind of insect eggs. Right there in the food. First came the shock, then the screaming. Waiters rushed over, trying to explain, but we were already calling an ambulance. We had no idea what creature had laid those eggs – or whether we had eaten any. My friend started panicking – out of fear or nausea.
At the hospital, they examined us, ran tests, prescribed medication “just in case,” and told us to monitor for symptoms. As for the restaurant – of course we filed a complaint. They tried to excuse it as a “technical error” or “spoiled ingredients from a supplier,” but it didn’t matter. After a dinner like that, trust is gone. Ever since then, every time I see chia seeds – I remember that night.
